HELP with sounds/display!

Postby Greg Wells » Wed Mar 19, 2003 9:04 pm

Hello, I have FS2002 and need help with the changing of the display and sound of the aircraft. I just downloaded the AF747F and the cockpit is that of a C172 and the sounds of one as well. How do I go about changing the cockpit to a B744 and change the sound to that of a B744? Please advise me how to do this step by step as I am sort of slow with this computer stuff!

Look forward to hearing back as I LOVE these downloads of these cool planes! Thanks, Greg

Greg if you copy the PANEL and SOUND folders from the default 747 into your new directory, then it will work just fine.

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

1. Navigate to the aircraft folder that contains the 747 you want your other aircraft to immitate, probably b747-400 which is in the aircraft folder in your main FS2002 directory.

2. Find and select the folders that are labled panel and sound and copy them.

3. Navigate to the aircraft folder that contains the aircraft you want to have these sounds and panel.
