cant add scenery

i get an FE.dll error and others when i try to add new scenery. i can make it show up and then when i click ok to add it goes through the first little % screen and then the second screen gives me an error and it closes the sim.  i then have to remove it to get the sim to restart.  help i want to add but cant

Which scenery is it? It sounds like there's a problem with the installation at best, and with the files themselves at worst.

its any scenery. ive tried several. all from this site.  any scenery that i add even if i put it in a seperate folder or in the add on scenery.  so therefore i have no idea.

FE.dll appears in the FS2002/modules folder. Check it's there first. If it is, I'd say it's probably corrupted.

If a complete re-install of FS2002 is too drastic, you could try hunting for it on the FS2002 CDs. It'll almost certainly be hidden in a .cab file though so you could have a big search on.

ok i can add scenery and it will build the database to 100% it then starts to add inexes and it gets to 30% and gives me the FE.dll error.  i can only find a fe.dll not the  FE.dll.  it then closes the simulator and gives me a imgui.dll error.  i cant find either of these files on the discs.  can someone send them to me or help me?
