I can't see anything about touching in the lyrics of those songs. That seems to be the objection to 'Sweet Caroline' which was apparently inspired by a magazine cover photo of the young Caroline Kennedy on her pony.

"You're Sixteen" was a cover like most of Ringo's efforts. It was written by Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman & recorded in 1960 by Johnny Burnette.

So they punish a football team/players that has nothing to do with the scandal, now they punish the fans that again had nothing to do with the scandal. Makes sense lol
