Dolphins won, Jets lost.

I'm happy.

Kicking off week 1 we have my team, the Favres, losing to the Brees's.  The Detroit Lions got hosed over a rule that should not exist.  Steelers went into overtime, Baltimore squeaked past the Jets 10-9.  That's all I watched.

Just a final word from myself about the call against the Lions last Sunday. The very same call was used against the Bears in a Lions/Bears game in 2004, resulting in a Bears loss. I'm including a quote, below, from the Bears web page.

I gotta give my props to Sam Bradford. His stats look like he had a bad game, but if you watched it you would be thinking the same thing as me. They passed 55 times...when we have one of the best running backs in the NFL, we should use him more when we dont have any WR's to throw to.
