A hopeful sign as Tiger Woods returns at the frys.com Open this week. The world's former No. 1 golfer fired a course record 62 in a practice round Friday at The Medalist, a course designed by Greg Norman, according to Yahoo Sports.

Now, practice is practice as Allen Iverson would say. But Woods shot a 29 on the back nine with 7 birdies, tweeted Tim Rosaforte of Golf World and NBC. That could make Fred Couples look good for selecting him for the Presidents Cup.

The Dolphins have a bye that week so I may watch it on Sunday.
