As this gets worse sponsors are going to have to drop him.  They are not going to keep paying him for commercials they can't air.

Gillette must be in a tight spot, with both Tiger and Thierry Henry's damaged reputations.

;D ;D  It IS a general discusion about a person who happens to be good at golf, but, nothing is mentioned here about any sport except skirt chasing and ad campaigns.

Accenture ends Tiger Woods sponsorship

Global consulting firm Accenture Ltd. is ending its sponsorship of Tiger Woods, saying the golfer is "no longer the right representative" after the "circumstances of the last two weeks."

... The move makes Accenture the first sponsor to cut ties altogether with Woods since his marital troubles came to light and since his statement Friday that the 33-year-old is taking an indefinite leave from golf to work on his marriage.

The fallout begins ...

People are serouisly making Tiger seem inhuman. Gosh ive never seen a celebrity or athlete make a mistake and have this much done to him. I mean dont get me wrong, what he did was bad but serouisly they are taking this over the top.

I mean respect him and leave him alone to the media. Gosh I feel bad for Tiger, noone accepts mistakes anymore these days? May as well have a perfect robot as a representative then eh? >:(

Just doing a little research on Wikipedia ...

"Accenture originated as the business and technology consulting division of accounting firm Arthur Andersen."

"Arthur Andersen voluntarily surrendered its licenses to practice as Certified Public Accountants in the United States after being found guilty of criminal charges relating to the firm's handling of the auditing of Enron, an energy corporation based in Texas which later failed. The other national accounting and consulting firms bought most of the practices of Arthur Andersen. Although the verdict was subsequently overturned by the Supreme Court of the United States, it has not returned as a viable business."

Maybe they can get one of those gangsta rappers as their new spokesman.

Nike can't afford to dump him.

Nike's entire line of golf equipment and apparel  is built around Tiger Woods.

As an equipment and apparel seller they are also likely to suffer least from this bump in the road.  People that buy clubs and caps don't care much for the morals of the spokesman.

EA can't afford to dump him either.  I don't know the age range of "Tiger Woods Golf" players but EA could probably boost sales by hiding a few nymphets in the rough.
