This is the most incomprehensible format I have ever seen.
Everyone plays one round on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Anyone who loses two of those rounds is guaranteed to be out of the tournament. If I lost on Wednesday and Thursday why would I show up on Friday unless they withheld my paycheck? Even if they promised to pay me I wouldn't have much incentive and I'd be inclined to lose every hole just to get the match over with as soon as possible.
This format will not be back next year.

You know, this used to be a helluva good country. I don't understand what's gone wrong with it. - George Hanson, 1969
A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.
Rory McIlroy has had to birdie the last hole in his last three rounds before winning in sudden death (the 17th today against Jim Furyk). On the 18th hole Jim Furyk has just his approach shot into severe rough.
The final round will feature Gary Woodland v. Rory McIlroy or Jim Furyk.
Edit: Rory hit eagle on 18. #1 in the world will play #52 in the world in the final match.
