#5 Notre Dame at #2 Florida State

Advertised kickoff time: 8:00 pm
Actual kickoff time: 8:24

Compare to
NFL advertised kickoff time: 1:00 pm
Actual kickoff time: 1:00 pm

Then the NCAA manages to drag out a 3:00 game to 3:30 and I'm going to be up past midnight for a game that should have ended by 11.

And they do this every week.

Best College game from last weekend...

Colorado State 16
Boise State 13

Game winning FG with 11 seconds left, and for Homecoming!

CSU deserves a Bowl berth with a 6-1 record, and a 4-2 record in the Mtn. West Conference!

More upsets.

Texas A&M 41
#3 Auburn 38

Auburn has now lost 2 games, both in the SEC, and it is out of the playoff. It still has to play Alabama.

#19 Notre Dame 31
#9 ASU 55

Not really an upset but the 7-2 Irish are now out of the playoff.

... and my CSU Rams broke into the top 25, sitting at # 23 with a 9-1 record!

First time in 11 years that CSU has made the Top 25... a FAR sight better than the guys down the road in Boulder!

GO RAMS!

This coming Saturday's game to watch is Nebraska at Wisconsin. These two teams don't seem to like each other much.
Although the Big Ten hasn't been a powerhouse this year, these next 3 weeks should be very interesting.
Going to sit at the Eagles with a Nebraska fan, with a shot bet on each score. Should be fun. Tho last Sunday's Bronco game was a bear to walk home from. :obscene-drinkingbuddies:

How does the #4 team leap to #2 over an undefeated defending national champion?

It was mentioned during the game that FS came back from behind during 5 of their 10 games, thereby maintaining their perfect 10-0.

I would think that a defending team would be kicking tail from start to finish in order to claim "king of the mountain" in college football.

Unlike soccer, the game isn't over until the clock reads 0:00.

Some of the ranking was based on strength of schedule. When the schedule was prepared no one thought, "Why don't we play Mississippi State and Oregon?". FSU will play Miss State in 2016.

The SEC will always have the advantage of strength of schedule. Mississippi State isn't even the leader in the western division of the SEC.
