The Winter Season Was Upon Us...

Except for the fairly thick ice pad I park my old Thunderbird upon at my current domicile and dwindling piles of snow (created by shoveling and plowing), most of the ground is bare on the lower levels; our parking lot is almost clear now. Temperatures are too warm for snow-making; Gunstock had 24 trails remaining, for Nordic skiing only, early morning for April 6; tonight there is a listing of none. If it gets cold enough tonight there may be a trail or so open for later this morning but maybe not.
There may be camping sites open at Gunstock with more open when the official summer season begins at the end of May.
