Best Olympic commentary ever!

"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!" - Sen. John Blutarsky

You know, this used to be a helluva good country. I don't understand what's gone wrong with it. - George Hanson, 1969

A bad day at golf is better than a good day at work.

Yeah, for me the Olympics is a waste of 2 weeks of TV.

Yeah, for me the Olympics is a waste of 2 weeks of TV.

I am fed-up to the back teeth, with this whole Olympic malarkey!

Every day, when I turn on my radio and TV, I am bombarded with Females wetting their knickers, and Males soiling their pants, and Sports-casters/Newscasters, etc, having heart attacks with excitement, over a group of oversized school children playing silly games, when all I want to do is listen to some music on my Radio, or watch a film, or World news on my Television.
None of that is possible at the moment, until all this annoying, minute by minute, media bedlam ceases!
No-one asked me if I wanted to pay the Licence Fee to listen to, or watch all this annoying stuff, occupying all the British Radio and TV Channels.
I will be forever glad when its all over, and everyone goes back home again, and the country, and the rest of the World returns to peace, quiet, and sanity again!

"Rome" was a long time ago...forget it now!

Paul....Trawling through the Radio Channels...trying to find some relaxing music while I Sim-fly...without success!

My kids have been interested so I did take them up there for a day. They enjoyed it and if it inspires them then I'm all for it.
Otherwise I'm not too bothered either way.
That said Winter Olympiads are cool, I love bobsleds and skiing. Only ever had a go at the latter, alas.

The best commentary of the Olympics has to have been a certain broadcaster, who, with the appearance of a certain Sir Tim Berners-Lee during the opening ceremony, said:

"If you don't know who he is, well, we don't know either. Go and google him"...

#IRONY

If you don't know who Sir Tim Berners-Lee is, go and google him. You'll soon understand! ;D
