Tennis, errm….not quite as boring as cricket – so that’s good.

I reckon that anything to do with kicking, hitting, throwing, etc, a circular-shaped object around on a playing field, has got to be a load of balls...

..of the most boring sort!

I could never figure out the fascination with such a so-called;"sport"! .... ...!

Far too much energy wasted .... ...

I would much rather sit in a comfy chair and watch paint dry.

Paul.... ;) ... ;) ... ....!

P.S...Sorry, Yan!... ;) ...!

I tried to learn to play tennis a couple of times.
Way more physical effort required than I could muster!
Not to mention my severe lack of proper hand-eye coordination.

Hard to watch on tv, due to all of that grunting they do. I keep waiting for one of them to mess themselves.

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.

I was a somewhat decent tennis player as a kid (I'm now 78...you do the math) but completely lost interest in the game when the large rackets came on the scene: it became all about baseline power with little or no finesse. In my day "Rocket" Rod Laver was the hardest hitter...he wouldn't last a set these days.

Ah, well, different strokes for different folks, eh?

The oversized bushel baskets they started to use for rackets killed it for me too. :(
