Anyone here use Netflix? I'm on my second month, so after
the 30 day free trial I'm now paying $8 dollars monthly. Which I can end with an email. I like watching documentaries and history programs and I like choosing when I view them. What's your *take on Netflix?

My family has been using Netflix for about a year, and we absolutely love it! It's cheaper than renting from Blockbuster after just a couple of movies, and being able to stream movies on our computer & PS3 is great as well. 8-)

Another nice thing about Netflix is you can take it with you if you have it on a laptop.  8-)

I've been using it for years... still haven't started watching the streaming stuff, mostly 'cuz I like getting the disc in the mail and going "oh yeah, I forgot about this one... cool!"  ;D

I don't do torrents, etc., so I can only compare Netflix to what I used to do (stand in line in a smelly B-buster store (why do they all smell bad? Is it just me?), get two or three discs, out of which at least one (usually the just-released smash hit) had clearly been used as a coaster and would not play- always!!! then have to run down there to drop the things in their box before the return date, or get charged extra.

It's way better than that, I can assure you.  ;D

So far, in several years, I've only received two discs (out of hundreds) that were too scratched to play, and they always arrive when they say they will. At least two have been lost in the mail, and they didn't seem to care (no fee for replacement). And I can hold onto them almost indefinitely... just can't have more than three at a time.
