I challenge anyone to underrate this superb book! Frankly if anyone in the US Forces DESERVED his Navy Cross then Marcus is my vote! I've had this a couple of days and it is only the nagging of Mrs Ozzy that I have to go to bed that has stopped me finishing it!
Rivals anything to come out of the British SF, written with humility, honesty and objectivity. And I never thought I'd say those words about a Texan
Just buy it if you're interested in SF warfare or the conflict in Afghanistan. Buy it if you're not, for a superb read about a most singular man who deserves his countries highest honour!
