Simple really....what concerts have you been to or are going to? Where, when, and who performed?

My extremely short list is:

Creed (2004 @ Hersheypark Stadium)

Halestorm, Trapt, and others (mainly care about those two. This coming Saturday @ York, PA!)

I was there but don't recall a lot, "Stevens Point Wisconsin Rock Festival." Summer of "70". Some of the groups in the 3 day event, I think.
Johnny Winters
Jethro Tull
Amboy Dukes
Brownsville Station
Buffy St Marie
Crow
The Cream
Janice Joplin (I'm pretty sure)
And many more. I did a search to find all the groups and apparently no one else can remember it all.
Scroll down to the 2nd or 3rd subject called.. Stevens Point Wisconsin Rock Festival.

Jeez, lol, what a question...

Go to my websites

www.kriskellens.be ( current active site)

www.omagphotography.web-log.nl ( former blog)

I shoot concert pictures in Belgium, so i've seen a lot of local bands and slowly bigger names are popping up:

The Kooks

Nighwish

Pain

Colbie Caillat

Seasick Steve

I've bought tickets for the Editors gig in Brussels, other names like Muse, Heather Nova, Rammstein, etc. depend on the fact if I get accreditation as photographer or not.

Lately I'm into the blues, less know to a lot of people, but music with a soul!

As a kid I used to go to festivals, so I've seen groups and artists like:

I saw a lot of the old rock 'n roll stars many years ago. They used to put on variety shows with so many different artistes & tour the dance halls & cinemas around the country. I always regretted not going to see Buddy Holly & Eddie Cochran when I had the chance.

I saw a lot of the old rock 'n roll stars many years ago. They used to put on variety shows with so many different artistes & tour the dance halls & cinemas around the country. I always regretted not going to see Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran & the Beatles when I had the chance. I saw the Kinks, Searchers, Yardbirds & a lot of the British 60s groups. Some of them played regularly in the local dance halls before becoming famous.

Since then I haven't been to that many. Dr Hook & the Medicine Show were excellent.

The Everly Brothers reunion concert at Brighton in 1984 was technically faultless but very disappointing. It was the penultimate performance at the end of a long tour. There was no support act & they were on stage for less than 1 hour with no encores. (Mind you, they'd performed most of their big hits in that time. The average record lasted less than two minutes back then.)

One of the best was the legendary Crickets when they last visited my home town of Worthing. This would have been about 10 years ago & they were absolutely brilliant.

Mark Knopfler a couple of years ago....The Dire Straits concert I never made it to ;D

The Dire Straits concert at Wembley in 1992 was the best concert I've ever attended or ever likely to.

I really wish I could have been at a Dire Straights concert. Those boys have talent!

I did see Pink Floyd in Chicago, mid 70's, during thier Pigs On the Wing tour. Excellent show, pyro techniques, lighting, and even huge pig balloons. At Soldiers Field stadium, Maximum capacity 70,000.(Depending on the event) Estimated at more than 90,000 people attending!

Some of you have really been around the concert scene for a while!  :o  :)

Went to my second one last evening at it was overall pretty awesome. The band I really went to see (Halestorm) rocked their butts off! Charmed City Devils (opening act) was pretty good too, and the show that Drowning Pool put on was impressive. Last up was Trapt, who was rather disappointing. Most people, me included, left after their first song.
All in all a nice evening out.  :)

I am into Death metal and ive only been to 2

Children of bodom
--Soundwave festival 09--
In Flames
DevilDriver
Lacuna coil
Lamb of God

So far I've missed out on about 5 others because I am not yet 18 and most metal concerts are 18+ which is really annoying.
