Are comics considered as cartoons, or do these have to be cartoon movies?

Rocky and Bullwinkle - Cartoon network or someone shows reruns late at night on weekends.
Ren and Stimpy - Talking animals on drugs.
Classic Looney Toons/Warner Brothers - Road Runner, Bugs Bunny, Tweety, all of that classical music stuff.

;) Thanks for that one Rotty. I remember watching Clutch Cargo in black and white. For many of us it was the transition decade between watching radio and watching television. I could only watch it at my grandparents house because my parents thought television was the devils tool and would not allow it in thier home.  :)

I see many familiar listings, plus a few not, but Peanuts? I used to draw my own strips for Beatle Bailey (I also had better eye-hand coordination then). As for the now, sometimes my favorite cartoon strip is... SimViation...
