Wondering who here plays one more musical instruments on a regular basis or competently, and what the instruments are. I don't play anything, but I'm guessing that we have a number of people here who do possess the ability.

I've been playing cello for nearly ten years now and I love it! 8-) I usually practice about an hour-and-a-half every day.

Paul, I'm surprised at you (of all people) not using spaces between the instruments on your list. Makes it very difficult to read.

Its copied from my previous "Signature" which is restricted in the number of characters that can be used......!

Medieval, etc instruments: Plucked Dulcimer. (home made), various Flutes, and a large selection of Recorders of various sizes, from Bass to Sopranino, Renaissance 13 Course Lute, Viols, Violins, etc...

Note: Most of my "Real" instruments can now be played/sounded on my various Keyboard Synthesizers!

Keyboards alone: I currently have 12 Synthesizers/Workstations, Keyboard Arrangers, Pianos, and Drawbar Organs (Hammond B-3 etc), on top of everything else!!
..all slowly filling up my house...

Ah, I thought that was most unlike you.

Note: Most of my "Real" instruments can now be played/sounded on my various Keyboard Synthesizers!

I have two guitars (a Squier Strat & an Aria semi-acoustic) & a Yamaha keyboard. I much prefer the guitar & the keyboard never came naturally to me. Modern synthesizers can duplicate the sound of most instruments but it would take a very skilled musician to accurately capture a stringed instrument

I play the violin.

Paul, I thought we were talking about instruments. What are all these letters and numbers?

I love/adore playing all my instruments. I am surrounded by them, but they are only for my own amusement.
Everyone else, including my large family. would rather sit down watching the television whilst munching a Take-away... ...!

The old Knees-up in the Front Room with Mum playing the old Joanna/Piano are long gone now..unfortunately... ...!
My Mum used to play the Piano, and Dad accompanied her on his Mandolin...happy days... ...!
The Piano has long since departed this Earth, but I've still got Dad's Mandolin and his Mandolin Banjo!

@ Brandon....they are all Make and Model numbers.. ...!
...I wouldn't mind Making it with a Model, at the moment!... ... ... ...!

...I have a nasty (and expensive) habit of collecting Les Pauls

I had, notice "had", long ago: 

> 1954 all gold Les Paul (w/ soapbar pickups).
> 1968 Les Paul "Black Beauty Custom".
> 1962 Gibson cherry red ES335.
> 1965 Fender Jaguar.
> 1965 Martin D-35S steel string acoustic.
> Two Robert Ruck classicals, years 1976 and 1980.
> Two Ovation nylon string electric acoustics, years unknown.
> Something like another 2 or 3 dozen guitars, electric, acoustic, and classical, at various times, good and not so good.

All gone with the wind.  Traded and sold off long ago.  Those 2 LP's were incredible, as were the two Rucks.

I now have a self-customized Jackson SLSMG, blue swirl, by far the best electric I've ever owned, and a Yamaha nylon string acoustic electric stereo, another incredible guitar, no longer in production.

Since a couple of months I own a Yamaha Apx500 acoustic guitar and a Fender Stratocaster Classic Player 60.

I'm getting along with chords now, playing on a regular basis, hoping to improve over time...

Must say the Les Pauls look and sound awesome and one day I'd love to own an LP. Though I'd have to get much better before being able to convince the misses... lol
