Just curious to think what you guys all think of the new metallica album...having listened to several of the songs on youtube, and subsequently bought the album (waiting on it to be delivered) I find I really like it...wondering if you lot thought the same, or think its utter ****?

It's great, way better than St Anger, so glad they ditched that steel drum, I still liked Anger but would have prefered a regular sounding drum over the TANG TANG TANG sounding one haha.
Hetfield sounds a little strange in some of the songs with his new growlish voice but I got used to it and the rest of the album has a good drive to it, definately a good add-on to the 'tallica collection.

Sounds very good to me...
of course it is not anything like Master of Puppets or And Justice For All, but I like the fact that they went back to their original style 8-)
