I agree 100% with you!!  The movie was excellent!!  Heath Ledger deserves a Oscar for this performance and his family can accept it in his honor!!  I'm going to see it again but, this time in IMAX!!!!

Andrew, if $7-ish gives you a hard time, don't ever, ever, ever try a movie in the UK, it will bankrupt you. My wife and I went to see Hancock whilst on holiday in the USA. It cost us $20 in total including refreshments. The last time we where in the UK we took the children to see "Horton Hears a Who". Two adults and two children (3 and 5 years old). It cost me $49 (25 Pounds) for the tickets and $39 (20 Pounds) for drinks, popcorn etc.

small kids would quite possibly be traumatised by this movie, althoughtheir is no blood and guts their are a few scenes i should imagine a small child would find quite disturbing.

Haha I come into this thread and the advert under SimV Forums is of the Joker.

I just got back from watching it. Brilliant film. Very amusing and clever. I love the bank scene... 'The boss told me to....' 'Really? He told me the same thing...'

Haha. So good.

As for our fellow in purple's magic trick... well that is one of a kind  :P (Not to mention the goodies in his pockets  ;D )

Overall, I thought it was great!

Great film, but unfortunately it seems to have given all the moral guardians an excuse to pull out the soapbox and say the UK ratings system is too lenient, pointing at the higher ratings it got around the world (mostly 15s or 16s, compared to a UK 12A).
