Ooh what a great movie that was.

Just gotten back from the cinema and along with Iron Man the other week, these two films have been some of the best I have watched in a long time.

The special effects are pretty nice in it and although some of the scenes arent hugely realistic with the events, it does give it a much more ruthless and 'get the job done' feel.

What do others think?

was okay. the ending was pretty poor, and a lot of the storyline reminded me of stargate SG1,, just using a differant civilisation.

I thought it was quite clever how it all moulded together into our 'every day' beliefs of their civilisation

Considering going to the theater to see it, but I hate spending nearly $8 to watch a movie at the theater, and that's with my discount....! :o

I love all the old, original, 1970's/1980's, Indiana Jones, Star Trek, Star Wars, Alien, Tron, "Arnie-type", Blade Runner, etc, etc, films to bits...

...and I always hope that the recent "equivalents" match up to the good-old, original, "Family Entertainment Stuff"....

..trubble is....they rarely seem to...(with too much CGI Graphic complication!).... :'(...!

Lets hope "Indie", takes us back to the original recipe, again... :-*...!

Paul.... :)...!

...I could never understand the the various "Matrix" (CGI) incarnations!....way over my bleedin' head!... :o...!

Yeh there are a lot of good classics, and okay Indiana uses a lot of CGI effects this time around, I thought they were pretty good. Good explosions (biiiig explosion for those who have seen it) and crashes and things. I personally think it gave the film a slightly more explosive feel- and it didn't really go over the top either.

Matrix is just pure brilliance... very well done film trilogy.

I bet you still think the 1969 Moon Landings were real....

...and in a couple of years time you will be able to catch a No. 9 'Bus from Crewe to Mars, for your fortnight's annual Holiday*?...... ;D.... ;D... ;D...!

Paul... ;D...!

* "Total Recall"... ;)...!

...it's all in the mind...trust me.... ;D...!

Saw it last night - excellent. Yeh, a little formulaic but great to see it all again, and I had a soft spot for Marion Ravenwood anyway! Also, it was fun to see Lucas and Spielberg including sly references to their previous work: the Ark of the Covenant poking out of a packing case in the Area 51 hangar, Indy/Han Solo's "I have a bad feeling about this" etc.

Great fun.

;)
