Here we see the great Boris Karloff pitching A1 Steak sauce...
That's right, the tag line was... wait for it... "Experiment!" ::)
And here's vaudeville, pop music and film legend Jimmy Durante selling Kleenex... big nose- tissues... get it? Get it?
Ford put another giant to better use selling their latest van in the mid-60s...
None other than the immortal Buster Keaton, the daVinci of slapstick...!!
This is actually a very funny commercial; maybe they let him direct it.
But it still makes me sad...he was a genius.
I know, Mr. Keaton, I can't look either... but hey, it's a living, I guess.
Here's an interesting commercial that compares the 1973 Chevy Nova to an NFL star... wonder who it could be?
