allo allo is a classic comedy... they don't make them like that any more :(

lets just hope the germans appreciate it... doubt they will though :P

I have to agree with Guy Siner, better known as Lt Gruber, who seemed concerned that they were dubbing it for broadcast in Germany. I suspect they'd actually have been better broadcasting it in English; the comedy just doesn't work otherwise...


...how are they going to translate the "pill in the till", the "candle with the handle", the "drug in the jug" and the "gateaux in the chateau"? ;D

"Eine Pille in der Kasse", "Eine Kerze mit einem Griff", "Eine Medizin in der Kanne" and "Kuchen im Schloss",.......................No you are right, it will not work at all ;D ;D

Actually the germans now can (sometimes) smile at persiflages like this one: Der Bonker

As a Brit living in Germany, after nearly 10 years I am getting my head around the German humour. Der Bonker is not bad, but this is better, all be it Austrian.......Deutsche Koch Show
