although lord of the rings was a good trilogy, the original star wars are classic films.. whereas Lord of the Rings is a fantastic trilogy in books

ash WTF! go watch the Star Wars trilogy (origionals btw, i wouldnt advise anyone to watch the new films) and read the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.. then watch them!

Lord of the Rings is OK, Star Wars is just stupid...and not even good funny stupid!

A tip: One should read "The Hobbit" first before reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Hate Star Wars...Lord of the Rings doesn't appeal to me much either.

I havn't seen the Star Wars series, but I have watched the Lord Of The Ring series. It was ok, but I just couldn't get into it like a lot of people.

I'll watch Band Of Brothers instead...

Star wars are the best films....

LOTR are the best books.....didn't really like the films though....
