Best yet? No, the U2 half time show wins that prize hands down.
I'm not a big Petty fan but I liked the show, it was nice to have a musician there who wanted to play his music and not try to top what happend there year before.

Waaay better than the Stones. Don't remember U-2's performance, but Tom Pettys was damn good 8-)

Call me boring, but I watched something else for half and hour.

usually it's 15 minutes, but thanks to the comercial world of america they extend it for super bowls. This gives more companies the opportunity to spend millions of $'s for a 15 second ad and pleanty of time for the latest rocker to cause offence.

This reminded me of one thing people were betting on- whether he would smoke a joint before halftime. He looked pretty well toasted
