Out of pure boredom, I just finished reading a news report regarding Brittany Spears' latest antics.
Not that i consider it news worthy, or even something worthwhile period. But one almost has to feel sorry for this chick... what a blatantly mismanaged life she has lead. nobody's fault but her own i guess.
she was placed on "mental lock down" in the hospital. and has a past filled with drugs and alcohol abuse... the kid just cant seem to "get her hay in a pile!" so to speak.
we have all seen these classic tragic-celebrity cases before... and they rarely end well...
... I wager that Brittany Spears will be dead within the next 36 months.
or does she have a snowballs chance of making good on her life?
what do you think?

I find myself turning my head or changing the channel every time I just hear her name. There are 1000's of normal people who have this same problem, if not worse, but they never get on the news, positive or negative. Why should she be getting all this random attention for something that will NEVER affect my life just because once upon a time she sang, and I use that term very lightly. I'd be great to have her ACTUALLY rehabilitate and give those kids a chance at a good life, but for now I give her 6 months just so I can stop hearing her name...... Its a sad story but it doesn't need to be all over the news just because she used to be famous.
Sad story, sad life, but I don't give a nuts

Sadly, I think she will linger for decades, still flashing her naughty bits while getting out of cars in her 70s. *shiver*

Britney who? ;D
She's right up in Amy Winehouse's and Pete Doherty's alley I'm afraid... No telling how things will evolve for those artists...
While I have to agree with Kriss, I can't help but notice that there are kids in this world who a far worse off than Brittney's children. At least they have a (very expensive) roof over their heads, the latest fashion in cloths and probably more toys in the play room than my children will see lin a lifetime. What ever problems she has, it is just a case of how far can she be pushed for a bit of media entertainment. Sells better than the kids suffering in the Projects with parents who a re dealing or selling themselves. Where are the high power lawyers and judges for these kids.

I can't believe this is actually being discussed. there are WAY more important issues at hand in this world, and one "sad" little girl trying every single stunt in the book to get noticed is just pathetic.
I do more good staring at a box of Orange Juice Concentrate.

Mark,
Why has this been moved to Music, Arts & Entertainment? What has Britney Spears got to do with Music, Arts & Entertainment?? ;D

Do we not have a 'Didn't she do well' forum lurking around the depths of SimV?

TSC.
Oh, PS: Six months. ;)

Funny you should say that Kris. My bet is she'll outlive Amy Winehouse. I reckon Pete D might be one of those really annoying people who's around for far too long...
...like the Rolling Stones!

Britney was driving to Disneyland. After being in the car for four hours she finally saw a sign that said "Disneyland "Left", so she turned around and went home.
Q: How do you get a twinkle in a Britney's eye?
A: Shine a flashlight in her ear.
