Anthony Burgess


A Clockwork Orange!


Only read the intro and the first 6 page but I can't wait till me next train journey tomorrow!!

I've recently read Animal Farm and Brave new World as well as 1984 :D Still on the shell are We by Yevgeny Zamatin, A day in the life of Ivan Devonisevitch by Aleksandr Isaevich Solzhenitsyn and just ordered Aldous Huxley's Devils of Loudon! All stunning pieces I hope!

That's a pretty weird book...Read it in 10th Grade and found it to be...well...weird :D

Richard Hammond: On the edge.

I've just started it, it comes across as a lazy afternoon read; ie one lazy afternoon and you've read it. Seems to be a good read though, if a little light.

the reign of Elizabeth 1558 - 1608 by J.B. Black
its partly for my A2 history retake, and partly because it interests me :)
