Here is Germany he is a HUGE hit. He is even on my companies in flight entertainment.
Personally, I find him as funny as a kick in the groin. The problem with Mr Bean is that regardless of what you could do to him, he will always come up smelling of roses. A 9mm in both knees and we would have half an hour of him in a wheel chair terrorising people in shopping queues and parking sideways in the disabled bays taking up two places..............my sides are splitting at the thought already.............not.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Rowan Atkinson is one of my favs, certainly in Mr. Bean, and everything else he's done.  I knew something has been missing on PBS here in Miami. How 'bout it, PBS?  Mr. Bean, Black Adder.  Let's liven things up again!

LOL...You were a little late too Theis...I watched on April 4th...The day it came out...LOL...I have it on DVD too... ;) :P

But yes, the movie itself was not too bad...I've seen Atkinson do better in the series though...There are some bits that pay homage to the original series...You'll see...On the whole, I like Mr. Bean...Great fun to watch... ;)

Probably best not to ask.

I wish they would rerun "Not The Nine O'clock News". Nothing has beaten it since.

The film was released in Europe ages ago (earlier this year - 30th March to be precise), and the DVD came out in the UK a week ago, so may be the same for the rest of Europe too. :)
