Tiny tip for iPod users..

If you haven't found out yet, convert all your songs to AAC in iTunes, will double your iPod capacity.

My 2 cents :D

What about quality loss, you are after all compressing compressed data?

meh, I still have 10Gb left :D

My tip....turn down the screen brightness.....saves so much battery life, and at half it doesn't look particularly different to full  ::)

My iPod is also 2-years old and I'm happy with it... it seems that it has not lost battery capacity, as I can stay for 4 days listening to it regularly and w/o charging...

I don't know about AAC... most of my MP3s are at 320kbps and quality may be lost...

My 2003 Ipod died. It has a battery life of about 3 minutes.

Now I have an 80 GB video.  :D

another tip for ipod users who have gotten the frowny face before and not been able to get it to work?

I kid you not, take it and smack it up against a hard table or floor, 9 times out of ten it will start looking, happened numerous times with my girlfriends :)

first of, i have always hated ipods, the software is crappy and unstable on the windows platform, so many people i know have jsut had problems with it, songs being deleted, ipod being formatted, and loosing songs of their computer and not being able to get hte ipod to talk to the computer so they can transfer back on...
