In my 'umble opinion, very few women singers nowadays actually "sing".... :-[....

...most of them just scream and shout, and generally just make an annoying, brain destroying noise... >:(...!

Whitney Houston is top of my list of really annoying, screeching, women singers, followed closely by Tina Turner, Cher, et al.... >:(... ...!

I'm amazed that they don't actually damage their vocal chords... ...!

I suppose it requires a classically trained singer to enrich the sound of the human voice and sooth the troubled brow... ...!

Playing musical instruments always came naturally to me.....but, unfortunately, singing never did... ...!

I was Fan of Ms Whitney Stunt.. I mean Whitney Houston But ,C'mon guys, this Girl Sings , and in a very ashtonishing way,It like Put all the best of Mariah Carey and Whitney Together...the rest, are just performers, Gwen,;Madonna, Britney stunt&shaved, etc..I love good singers there a few today ,But Christina  ,Joss, and Amy from Evanescence are definaly singers indeed

She has some nice songs, but as soon as she tries those long...cries...or those wimpy ballads I don't respect her one bit more than the rest of her fellow...whatever you wanna call them.

Yet, she looks really good. Especially without the piercings and dyed black hair.

I never paid too much attention in their looks ,or how they looks ,I like the singings ,well sings Voices,even males like Rob Tomas,Luis Miguel (Mexico)

Also I'm a Huge fan lover Of Nelly Furtado but she's more talent as a composer Musiian and Performer

Great song, awsome singer... but the freaking Timbaland stuff is gonna grow so old in no time... He's everywhere and it all sounds the same...

Soui! Within Temptation rocks! I won their signed album "Mother Earth" a couple of years ago, trough my favorite radiostation... So mcuh better than Evanescence!

To get back to the first video in this thread. I've gone deaf after 1.30 minutes. My God, that woman screams. Now don't get me wrong, she must have done something right otherwise she wouldn't sell so many records. And her colleagues too. I have to agree with Paul on this, they scream more than they sing.

I rather hear Amy (Evanescence) or Sharon (Within Temptation).
