We have lost so many talented artists before their time but the one that most affected me was Buddy Holly - killed in that plane crash on February 3, 1959. I was 16 at the time & could not believe the newspaper headlines. My hero was dead.

Clip, you should listen to Doyle Bramhall.  He was a major influence for the young Stevie Ray, even spending a lot of time at his house.  It's easy to see where Stevie got his licks from...  ;)
