Clock radio goes off this morning and that's the first damn thing I hear... please, please, please, Santa- take this back! Worse than a lump of coal... I never even got to see him perform in person...!   :'(

So suddenly, and so young ( for the likes of him)!! He was still hard at work, giving it up and turning it loose.
He embodied the passion, frustration, and determination of his entire race, and the times he lived in.

Thank you, Mr. Brown, for sharing all that excess mojo with such style and uncompromising individuality!!

Very bad news for Christmas day, i saw James Brown support the Red Hot Chilli Peppers about one and a half years ago.  What a great performer....RIP :'(

A huge, huge loss for the music industry, and anyone who loves music. Was a true legend in every respect and will be sorely missed by millons.........

Yeah and i read a interview with him he did on Christmas Eve where he said he would beat pneumonia and would be ready to perform New Years Eve.
