Very good.... The beatles are my favorite of maybe all time, but I always like to say the beach boys had more actual talent  ;D

What I love about the Beatles is the fact they are(were) a band that progressed musically 30 years in a matter of just a couple years.

...and Paul McCartney paid a tribute to the Beach Boys on the 'white' album with 'Back in the USSR', which is a cod-Russified girly-beach-type song - listen to the 'middle-eight' for an overt reference.

Perish the thought! McCartney and Brian Wilson got to be chummy while they were both at the Maharishi's pad in India in 1967 while Macca was writing it.
