Yeah!

Great to see them still playing together.
They never really changed, that is why they are probably still together!

Great stuff as maiden was one of my favorites during the 80's!

Think I might just get the new CD when it comes out.

Dave you surprise me a Maiden fan? SWEET!! Somehow saw you as a Duran Duran guy ;D ;D (kidding, lol)

Too be honest they changed somewhat since the 80's they now have 3 awesome guitar palyers in the band!
But they still manage to pop out a new album every year or so and sad thing is not many real metal bands do that anymore.
Bruce Dickenson is a busy guy, not only performing with Maiden but also a solo career and a commercial airline pilot.

But still the tightest sounding band ever and metal music by actual talented muscians. IMHO.

Got the chance to check out the new song/video and I think it is awesome, always loved thier ability to tell a story in a song (another thing most bands can't do).

Depressing and scary?
I tried but I can't think of one Maiden song that is depressing or scary, each tells a tale, some about WWII some about midevil times most all about some historical event or person.

What is Hip Hop? Bangin hoes and shooting people, all about the bling , yeah that is the way forward alright and the decline of music and our youth. ;D

;D Knew that would turn a few heads! I agree some Hip-Hop can be pretty aweful, but some really is great!

I wasnt really refering to Iron Maiden either, just metal/heavy rock in general...even i can admit they are one of the best metal bands out there ;)

DICKINSON AIRLIFTS BEIRUT EVACUEES

IRON MAIDEN singer and qualified pilot BRUCE DICKINSON airlifted 200 British citizens who had fled war torn Beirut, Lebanon back to the UK yesterday (20JUL06). The 47-year-old flew a Boeing 757 to Cyprus where he picked up the evacuees and flew them back to London's Gatwick Airport. A colleague says, "He was only too keen to get involved and help. "He has a strong interest in the welfare of people caught up in international conflicts and cares about what is going on."

Now how cool is that?
You would never see Boner (Bono) doing that, he is too busy trying to get the US to solve all the worlds problems instead of taking action himself ;) lol!

"Up the Irons!"

Bruce Dickinson as airline pilot and rock star

Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, has passed rigorous flight exams to qualify to fly twin-engine passenger jets with a new charter airline based at Gatwick.

He now works as a
