how many people in this forum are familiar with the show COPS? hah i think its the best show ever!  ;D

lol...it's not a bad show...BUT....

I'd much rather prefer the days growing up in my old neighborhood where we actually used to see police chases through our backyard

I also witnessed a great pursuit a few weeks ago..

A police car was driving in the streets and there was a group of pigeons sitting on the road in front... First the young officer used is onboard microphone system to tell them to go away... Of course they didn't. Then he started honking the horn.. again the pigeons didn't give away. Finally when he drove real close to them they went away....

The end result the police car could move on and we and other shoppers had a real good laugh. He didn't think it was funny though and had to be tough by racing away soon! Without warning lights or sirenes...Which made us laugh even more!

Sheesh those pigeons! Absolutely no respect for the law at all!

Unless you have cable tv, it's on here I think once a week late at night. I love it.
IN america do they really pull over the car with the broken tail light, run a search on it see that its stolen then when they pull it over they full on get their guns out saying get out of the car!, ect!

... yes.

It's a good show, should be required viewing for many Americans so they understand what it's like to be on the other side.  A lot of people can't put themselves in others shoes.

I remember just about a year ago, when Deputy was still hanging around, there was someone who didn't understand why cops take extra-special care when they see that the driver they've just pulled over had a concealed weapons permit.

Lol cops is great, definately one of my faves!

I watch it everyday at noon, in between classes.

I rather the pursuit show cars,you know they place a camera in all the police vehicles,,They also plays COPs here,But all I can see Is racicism in an indirect way,Only black people are the bad guys,I don't like that,I use to live in USA specificly In Mississippi and I saw that some white guys are bad guys too.....

Believe me Alex, there's PLEEEEENTY of white guys on COPS too

I don't watch it much, but I remember this one episode where they called in the NYPD (I think) to get a boa out of an apartment.  Interesting reactions, to say the least.
