Katahu: SG-1 DVDs question

Hey Kat, You are the only person I know who has the SG-1 DVDs, so this question is for you. The first season disk3 episode "The Nox" seems to have a problem. You can't hear anything that Apophis is saying. You can hear other sounds related to him (footsteps, weapons fire, ect.) but nothing when he speaks. I know there is probably no way to fix it, but I was wondering if you had the same problem, or if I have a defective disk or something.

defective. Figures ::)

Oh well. I got it used, this must be why they returned it. Everything else seems OK though. Thanks for helping clear that up. :)

Nine out of ten says that you have a defective product. :P

Did you select any options for the verbal language? Disc 3 of Season 1 has the following options for sound:

French: Stereo Surround
Spanish: Stereo Surround
English: Stereo Surround

*also iincludes Featurette: Profile on General Hammond ;)*

Are you sure you have it set to English? Try it out. If so, and it still doesn't work, then go return it because it has to be defective.

Anyways, it was a nice episode. It was one of those episodes that has set certain standards on how the SGC obtains new technologies and uses them throughout the show.

It is definately defective. The weird thing is that I can hear everyone else, just not Apophis. It doesn't look like he has a whole lot to say anyway, probably just his usual threats and insults. It is a good episode, the Nox are cool.
