If you want to see a quality war film, ruined only by Donald Sutherlands attempt at an Irish accent then BBC1 at 11.40 today. ;D

I've got it twice on DVD. The standard edition and the special. Still an excellent film 8)

Balanced however by Donald Pleasance's portrayal of Himmler, and the excellent Anthony Quayle...

If you like this film you may like to watch "Went the Day Well" (from the Graham Greene novel), which covers a similar topic and was made during the war...

Watched it last night. Quite good, its always nice to watch a movie from the perspective of the other side. Even if it wasn't made by the Germans ;D

Watched it also. Aside from Donald Sutherlands accent the only other gripe I have is that Anthony Quayle is just too much of an Englishman to be a convincing German. Otherwise a brilliant film.

But not nearly as good as Zulu...

Cause it's got Micheal Caine, Robert Duvall, Anthony Quail and Donald Sutherland in and is actually a very good film once you get past Donald Sutherlands Irish accent. :)
