Balanced however by Donald Pleasance's portrayal of Himmler, and the excellent Anthony Quayle...
If you like this film you may like to watch "Went the Day Well" (from the Graham Greene novel), which covers a similar topic and was made during the war...

Posted: Thu Jan 12, 2006 6:11 pmWatched it also. Aside from Donald Sutherlands accent the only other gripe I have is that Anthony Quayle is just too much of an Englishman to be a convincing German. Otherwise a brilliant film.
