Guitar strings?

SO...what kind of guitar strings do you prefer?

Most of the time I tended to use Martins for accoustics and ernie balls for my electrics....

that was until I met my latest ex...she has ataylor guitar and on it they put these strings which she said sounded awesome so I figured I might as well try a set on my stratacoustic as it needed strings anyways and if they didn't work out it wouldn't be that big a deal as I don't play that one too much.

Well I picked up a set of these string and threw em on and I tell you what my stratacoustic sounded terrible before I put these strings on jusg because it's a cheaply made and cheap sounding guitar but when I the new strings on it there was some kind f awesome sound coming from my cheap guitar.. ;0

So if yo've ever got a few extra dollars for a set of these strings take a gamble and go for it... ;)

And for those of you who are still wondering about these strings check them out.. ;)
Elxer with NANOWEB coating.. ;) I'eve heard that the poly coating isn't any good.. ;)

I actually had to order a set for my 12 string off of the internet as no one in the local area has 12 string sets.. :D

Personally, I like ernie ball medium weight (orange pack) on my electric, and Martin nylon for my classical acoustic. I couldn't be happier with my strings. Tryed GHS on the electric once and I wasn't impressed. And some weird italian brand on the acoustic, also not impressed, one of them broke within a few weeks.

I always buy the best quality strings for my electric and classical guitars, and change them regularly... ;D...!

It's surprising how short their life is before they start sounding "dull"... :'(...!

A new set of strings is like having a brand-new guitar all over again... ;D...
...except that my classical guitar improves with age....like a Stradivarius violin... ;)...!
(Its 45 years old now and sounds better every year)...!

LOL...!

Paul...getting all strung-up over nothing...LOL... ;D...!

I use Gibbson's Vintage Reissue on my LP, Boomers on Yamaha, and Martins on my Classical.  (Sold my Warlock, but I used Boomers on that too.)  :)

For my Jackson electrics, Ernie Ball .008 sets with .009's on top for my electrics.
