Comedian wise I guess I would have to say jeff foxworthy and his troop of characters..

Tommy Cooper, Andy and Lou (Little Britain), Tony Blair.....

I agree about Eddie Izzard - excellent comedian. I live in his home town, you know - Bexhill on sea. He's in the line-up to open our re-vamped De La Warr Pavilion in a couple of weeks.

The US state of Delaware and the river that runs through Philadelphia were named after the Earl De La Warr.

The list goes on. The sad thing is most of them are dead.
Modern comedians may make me chuckle, but they aren't the same...
