Flashback to the late sixties: October 24, 25, 26. Madison Square Garden, New York City. Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker. Cream reunites, I think for the first time since they disbanded after their farewell tour, I forget when that was. Don't know any more details right now, didn't see any other U.S. playdates.

I would seriously kill, even for nosebleeds. You don't want to know what I'd do for front row! :o
I don't think I could even afford nosebleeds anyway...
But hey! Maybe they'll do a pay per view thing. ;D Then no one will have to die. ;)

It has just come to my belated attention that Cream, 38 years to the month that they recorded 'Disraeli Gears' in New York City at the end of their first U.S. tour, gave 4 concerts this past May in the Royal Albert Hall. With all due respect here, according to several reviews I've read, they weren't so sour at all. And to us late '60's rockers who picked apart albums, were influenced by, and learned much from Cream and all those other amazing groups back then, they will never be anything less than just that, amazing.
