It has just come to my belated attention that Cream, 38 years to the month that they recorded 'Disraeli Gears' in New York City at the end of their first U.S. tour, gave 4 concerts this past May in the Royal Albert Hall. With all due respect here, according to several reviews I've read, they weren't so sour at all. And to us late '60's rockers who picked apart albums, were influenced by, and learned much from Cream and all those other amazing groups back then, they will never be anything less than just that, amazing.
