Hey! Does anyone here like Christian music? I love it! It can be a lot better than secular music. Some of my favorites are:
Switchfoot
Sanctus Real
Relient K
Hawk Nelson
Kutless
If you have'nt checked out any Christian music yet, you should!!
Peace out,
Ben

Well, I like Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart (probably not a Christian but wrote a couple of nice Masses), Handel (though not a big fan of 'Messiah' - a little long and boring).

Yup. If you want real christian music, listen to Bach. I get tortured with his 'Weihnachtsoratorium' every December.

Like 12 Stones?
I don't give much on christian music, I prefer seeing the dark abysses of human minds or end-of-the-world songs. In short: totally secular. Or at least no god praising music.

I work with a guy who is into all that christian music and everything that comes along with it, but he is cool and I've never heard him preach so he's okay by me as long as he keeps his beliefs to himself, but anyways, we all listen to walkmans at work and he has turned me on to some of his christian music that is heavy enough to sound like good ol' devil music, I don't know the names of any of the groups but the singers sing just like those wonderfully talented death metal singers that more or less growl so you can't understand a word their saying anyhoo.....I kinda like that stuff okay, but if I can hear 'em preachin' I won't listen to it.

I'm turned off by preaching too (for example, I love Johnny Cash, but when he does a trad. spiritual I usually can't hang with it), but I will say that I've definitely heard an improvement in the rockin' factor with the Christian bands, since the days of, say, Stryper or whatever. There's even straight-edge Christian hardcore out there!!

'Straight egde' and 'christian' aren't too far away from each other.

Like ATI...I'm a bit of a "Secular" sort of guy...

...!
I love playing "Church" music by G.F. Handel, J.S. Bach, etc, but that's only because it is EXCELLENT musical composition...
...not because it's anything to do with "' 'im up there"....

...!
Tee-Hee...

...!
Cheers all...

...!
Paul...tinkling on the old Organ..

...!

I strongly doubt that Chevelle is christian.
And words are as important to me as the music.

Well, band members mostly live a life led by everydays (christian, to a great extent) rules. As long as it's not in their lyrics..
