I used to go to folk clubs around here in the 60s when it was popular. Unfortunately this was too late to see Paul Simon & various other now-famous names in their formative years. I've always regretted missing that opportunity.

I must be one of the very few people who never liked Bob Dylan, even when he was at the height of his popularity. He could never sing to my mind & I still find him painful to listen to. I don't mind his songs but think these were much better when performed by other artists like the Byrds. The only one of his I really liked was "Lay Lady Lay".

Funny you should say that Paul. Some of my friends call me Dougal. Never been too sure how to take that. ::)

Still, I've been called much worse in my time. ;D
