     and many many others Im 40 years old and im like pop music also I love old music,i was a Dj once,and let me tell you theres more music than system of a down and Spliknot.........wich i like them too

Beyonce- okay music, i just dont like it
Madonna -the women is just too old to pretend she is a school girl
Christina Aguilera -music annoys me
Eminem -okay sometimes, and then i see him make fun of his fans, and they don't even notice
Evanescenece -some songs are okay
Britney Spears -not tolerable to listen to (exception: i have had "toxic" stuck in my head for 2 weeks)
Delta Godreem -haven't heard of them actually
Black eyes peak -they're okay, just way over played
Hillary Duff -should stick to "acting"

btw i don't even listen to System of a down, and all though i do own a slipknot cd, i haven't listend to it in over a year

I dont listen to a whole lot of pop anymore mainly because it has become SKIN! SKIN! SKIN! The pop artists I do like have musical talent and keep their clothes on. I started out liking Brit and Christina when they first started, but once they got into showing the most skin contests and throwing musical tallent to the wayside, I lost interest and respect for them quickly. Modonna scares me. I put her in the smae category as Marilon Manson. I don't listen to rap becuse it has too much... um... black gettoness to it. I listen to older '80's rap though. Beyonce was cool when she part of Destiny's Child, but I havent cared much for her since she went solo. Her musical style just doesn't appeal to me.

I don't think that people talk about pop much here because it "just isn't cool" for guys. In this day and age the current thinking is Pop is for girls and gay guys, so most guys don't listen to pop period or dont admit to it.

I get flipped all kinds of crap for likeing a pop artist and get called a p*ssy as well as gay. I frankly don't care; I lisiten to what sounds good, not what looks good and is "cool".
I wish people would discuss some other genres like techno or country, not just rock and pop.

I think I'm the only one here who listens to the new punk rock. Then again I'm most likely to listen to it. When was the last time you heard mention of these bands?

Madonna - Madonna is really cool in my opinion, and I like her songs too.
Christine Aquilera - The only songs I really like from Christina are, "Fighter", "Beautiful", and "Genie in a Bottle"
Eminem - Though his lyrics aren't very nice, I still really like the beat in his songs.
Evanescence - I love that song "Going Under"!
Britney Spears - I like quite a few of her songs, especially "Toxic", "Oops I Did It Again", and "(You Drive Me) Crazy".

There are enough pop artists out there who keep their clothes on, but don't have any talent at all.
