i'm not sure about getting it. my "quintessential player" works too fine to be replaced...

I've heard of that one and I'm considering giving it a spin. Looking at the website it looks llike Winamp has more plugins and I really like the shoutcast network for streaming audio.

it's basically just a copy of winamp,but a greatly improved one. i particularly like the integrated skin browser (preview,download and automatically install new skins) and the integrated ID3-tag editor.
