Ridley Scott's New Movie Sounds Interesting!!

Postby SpaceHippy1975 » Tue Apr 04, 2017 11:16 am

Hi all,

Have you heard that Ridley Scott is in the progress of getting a WWII movie based around the Battle of Britain?

I'm definitely up for watching a decent WWII aviation movie, I did think that Red Tails movie was reasonable but the soundtrack was way too modern/drummy, it distracted me quite a bit.
I'd love to see it reissued with a proper orchestral soundtrack!

Anyways, here's hoping the new Dunkirk film will be a good watch!

Ridley Scott's films have been a mix of good and not-so-good. Prometheus had so many plot holes, it was just disappointing, no matter how great it looked on screen. On the other hand, The Martian was both a critical and commercial success. Just because it's directed by Ridley Scott doesn't mean it's instantly a good movie ... or even a "decent" one.

I love most of Ridley Scott's sci-fi, etc, stuff...

..but War Films (World War) don't float my boat, after being bombed out of London, (England) in the Blitz in 1940.... ....!

....another one of the reasons why I don't "fly" military aircraft in the Flight Sims!

Had more than enuf of; "War", to last me the remainder of my lifetime!... ...!

...mind you..."Sponge Bob", directed by Ridley Scott would be awesome fantastic!.... ...!
