Although I was born the year it was shown, I found it hilarious & still have the DVD box set!

86. Wow. RIP Andrew. There were only 12 episodes of Fawlty Towers, but what fun. The whole bunch. I can hear the theme tune right now and "Manuel" going "Is not easy for me!" One great actor that will be missed.

I find it ironic that a real immigrant, fleeing oppression winds up in a country where he becomes famous for being an oppressed immigrant :D

Considering he was native German, he did quite well enough with the feigned Spanish-accented English.
