Sad news indeed, he influenced a lot of guitarists. His music will live on forever.

This post is a tribute to a very influential guitarist who not only was an important sideman to Elvis Presley, but who influenced many guitarists who followed, including myself. I am paying my last respects to Scotty Moore via this post.

Your post, Jetranger, is not funny and does not belong here. You wouldn't do this at his funeral, don't do it here.

The very first 45 RPM record I ever played was Elvis' "Ain't Nothing But A Hound Dog", Scotty Moore on guitar. He said he knew the song would be good for "comic relief" during their shows.
