Buckethead?

Postby Azframer » Sat May 28, 2016 3:07 am

I have seen this guy in concert setting. Most of his latter stuff is instrumental, no singing at all. He had some earlier stuff where he had someone singing on it. I think the guy is a loner, he has issues, but man is he talented with a guitar.

Headgear:
Buckets and other types.
I tried the typical all-American Baseball Cap on my head whilst playing my Fender Strat, and it sounded awful, no matter which way round I wore the hat, peak forward, or peak backward...or even sideways!
Which is probably one of the many reasons why I make sure that I never wear all-American Baseball Caps, ever!

I think he did an album with Primus, did he not? Or maybe just with Les Claypool?

Something in his playing reminded me of John McLaughlin.

McLaughlin is a highly respected musician among famous musicians, but seems to be little known to most people.

I couldn't find the John McLaughlin piece that Buckethead reminded me of, but maybe others will enjoy this.

This is a little about the guy, I meant what I said, he is a odd one. He has talent though. When I went to his concert I went to take my kids. Bucket head did the bonus level of one of the guitar hero game you had to unlock. Kids wanted to go so I took them. He gives things out to people and he game my daughter a my pony toy she still has.

Truck...

A Partial Baseball Hat is one worn by certain individuals, (African Rappers, Wannabe Rappers, Cool Dudes, etc), where the peak is positioned either over the left eye, or the right eye.

"No wot I'm sayin', Bro?".... ;) ...!

In my British regiment, REME, the badge is worn one inch over the left eye...>>> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cap_badge

We old civilian Brits wear flat caps...>>> https://www.tomsmarte.com/the-shop/the-flat-cap//

Buckethead's head-dress is certainly something different!... ;) ...!
