Very sad news.

I always enjoyed; "Waking up to Wogan", on BBC Radio 2, every morning!

A truly lovely fellow!

An example for every broadcaster.

Sad news indeed :( He always made my morning rush hour journeys a LOT better, although I must say that whenever he read out any Janet & John stories I really did find it VERY difficult to concentrate on driving, I was always laughing too much!

I must admit that, as I approach early middle age, I generally listen to Radio 4 these days (to our non-British members, that's the BBC's current affairs, news and occasional light entertainment station). However, this morning Chris Evans played one of Terry's superb renditions of one of the Janet and John stories (a scuffed shoe and a close encounter with a female shoe shop owner :D ). I had trouble driving.

The man was a legend, and the best broadcaster I suspect Europe, if not the world, has seen in our lifetime.
