I can't believe it, I remembered this old series many years ago that helped encourage my flying urge, and someone has popped it up on YouTube!

This is a classic series and well worth watching ;)

Excellent find Mark.
And a bit sad too..........Back on the days when we had real diversity of aircraft.

Another series that kept me glued to the TV.......Fighter Pilot

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

One of my FAVORITE series! Such a gem, never new of it until I found it on youtube several years ago...after every viewing I cannot help myself but do some simulated "flight tests". :D

That show made me start collecting EPTS aircraft pictures and sim models...then it got me obsessed with the National Test Pilot School, a civie test pilot school in Mojave....

That show had a direct influence on my career path.

To bad shows like that are not on cable any more. What a shame.

Never had the pleasure of cable in my youth. The earliest influence besides the Biggles books was a US series about the Black Ace way back in 1951 or2. I've never found it since then, but what an excitement that series was. I wonder if anyone can remember that one? Fozz?

Many thanks Shadow. Brought me right back to my childhood. I guess the series was a 1933 epic. Us kids got to watch it on infant TV in Britain in the early '50's. I'm not sure what the Bi-planes were, they look a bit like Stearman Cadet. Great stunt flying back then in the Barn-storming era.
