Hello Gents!

Most of us men in the 40+ age bracket have probably seen the movie "Vanishing Point".

While searching for this most excellent classic film on YouTube, I came across this beauty

I've probably seen the film a long time ago, but I forget now, and having watched far too many episodes of "Cops/ Cops re-loaded" in the TV CBS Reality show, I occasionally rejoice when the Cops actually LOSE!

Cult Movies...cant beat 'em.... ...!

Paul.... :D ...!

P.S...Talking about Cult Movies; one of my favourites is Steven Spielberg's film; "Duel".... ;) ...>>> http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067023/

I can watch that over and over again!

OH MY GOD!

I have been wanting to watch this movie (Duel) ever since you mentioned
it like a year or so ago Paul!

I did a search for it on YouTube, but all I could get was those little tidbit clips.
But today.. due to your post and mention of that film.. I FOUND IT!!
In it's entirety! I think the universe gave me a little birthday present. :D

It is a recent post 6/30/2015, so any of you guys who haven't seen this movie
yet better watch it now, cause I don't think it's going to be up long!

Here she is! ( Steven Spielberg's "Duel" )

Thanks Paul!

I was able to get the movie "Vanishing Point" online from Wally World ( Wallmart )here in Canada last year. I was surised that they had it. I also was able to get the 4 Airport movies about a month ago from the same source. I still get a kick out of those.

Keep smiling
Tug :)

Ta, Dwayne!... ;) ...!

Probably, the most "sensible" film that Steven Spielberg has ever made!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duel_%281971_film%29

His second full feature film, made on a very small and successful budget!

The truck in the film is a Peterbilt truck, and my favourite truck in my series of "Truck Simulators".
http://www.peterbilt.com/

And the actual one from the film...Feast your eyes on this!....>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLy94PxIq6s

The route taken by both drivers from Santa Clarita to Palmdale in the film, is one of my favourite road routes to take in my Flight Simulators...I know every bit of that road; I5 to Highway 14 and turn off to Soledad Canyon Road...and then to the site of the final crash!

(One of Fozzer's regular Flight Tours).... :D ...!

"Duel". A wonderful, "entertaining" film. A rarity nowadays!

Paul.... ...!

P.S...Sorry Lads. "Vanishing Point" vanished when "Duel" took over for a while!... .... ....!

Having an affinity for the 'original' Vanishing Point (not the one with Viggo) because some of it was filmed in Colorado, Look for the scene where Kowalski pulls over on the side of the highway (the caption on the screen reads NEVADA SATURDAY 3:30 PM)... the riff playing in the background is 'Welcome to Nevada' by Jerry Reed.
